THIS HELP DOCUMENT IS OUTDATED AND MAY NOT FULLY APPLY TO THE CURRENT SETUP FOR LINKED GALLERIES.

This is an advanced feature, so we recommend carefully reading this guide to ensure everything is set up correctly. Additionally, we strongly suggest accessing and testing your event as a guest to verify that the setup looks exactly as you want.

Important keywords to know

  1. Main Gallery: This is the gallery you'd be connecting all other galleries to. The QR Code or Link you share with guests must be from this gallery. The easiest approach is to create a dedicated "Main Gallery" that won't receive any upload, and only serves as a hub for Linked Galleries.

  2. Linked Gallery: This is any gallery you connect to the Main Gallery.

  3. Default/First Gallery: This is the first linked gallery you add, which will serve as the default for several settings. The Title, Description, and Cover Image for this gallery will be displayed to users accessing your main gallery. If you plan to use Voicemails, be sure to enable it in this gallery, as all voicemails from linked galleries will be stored in the default/first linked gallery.
You may always change the default gallery, by simply re-ordering the linked galleries.

The Main Gallery isn't included automatically, so you'll need to link it to itself if you want it to appear in the Linked Galleries.

Steps to Link Galleries

  1. Go to the Main Gallery you want to connect other galleries to.

  2. Click "Menu" at the top right

  3. Select "Settings" on the menu list

  4. Select "Linked Galleries" from the dropdown menu at the top left of the window

  5. Click on "Link gallery" to connect a gallery

    1. Enter the button title: This will help guests know what the linked gallery is to help them navigate. Try to keep it short.

    2. Select the corresponding gallery

    3. If you want guests to be able to upload to the linked gallery, toggle on the "Allow Upload To Linked Gallery"

    4. If you want to prevent guest from viewing the uploads in the linked gallery toggle on "Prevent Viewing Gallery Content"

    5. Click the "Set" button

    6. Repeat the process until you've linked all relevant galleries.

NOTE: When galleries are linked to a main gallery, they inherit the permissions & settings of the main gallery. So, if the main gallery being linked to doesn't allow guest downloads, linked galleries will follow that restriction.
