If you are using an iPhone or another Apple device and select multiple photos or videos, you may notice a delay after tapping the Add button. This happens because Apple converts the files from HEIF or HEVC into a web-compatible format. The conversion can take up to 1 second per photo and up to 4 seconds per video.
This conversion process happens directly on your device, BEFORE GuestCam even receives the files from your phone to begin the upload process.
On some iOS versions, Apple does not show a progress indicator during the conversion process, which can make it seem like the issue is on our side.
In this situation, simply give your phone time to finish the conversion. Once it completes, the screen will return to GuestCam and our upload process will begin.
